Trinity turned 8 years old on Feb. 4th. We had a fun Hollywood Connections birthday party planned with her school friends and then a family Superbowl party planned the next day. As we were starting to get ready for her birthday party we noticed three small pocks on her stomach. Sure enough it turned out to be a mild case of the chicken pox! So much for the vaccine she had when she was a toddler. We had to cancel the party and stay home with her the entire weekend until we knew that she was no longer contagious. We had fun regardless and luckily they didn't bother her too much. She is sure a trooper!! We rescheduled her party for the first weekend in March. Above is a picture of her eating her cake at Hollywood Connections. We tried roller skating, rode all kinds of rides, and had balloon animals made for the girls. It was the first time skating for 5 of the girls which was hilarious.
